The Hypnos Wool Origins 6 Mattress is a new mattress showcasing the developments made by Hypnos in recent years, as well as underlining the generations of experience they have when it comes to making hand-made mattresses and beds. This new Wool Origins 6 mattress has several new details, all of which result in this mattress becoming one of our favourites already! This is a luxury, double-sided mattress that has reinforced sidewalls and a supremely luxurious feel.
This Hypnos Origins 6 mattress comes in medium and firm firmness levels and is built around a Pocket Spring unit. The Pocket Springs all work like pistons, up and down as pressure is applied, conforming to the contours of the body and promoting good posture, which prevents pressure points from forming. Hypnos’ Pocket Spring goes a step further and will actually get firmer as more weight is applied. These ‘ReActive’ springs are very simple yet effective, supporting the body exactly where the support is needed, instantly. This mattress has the ReActive 6 turn spring, meaning it recognises 6 different pressure levels (hence the “6” in the name of this mattress).
The Wool Origins 6 mattress features the new ReActivePro spring system, which sees Hypnos’ ReActive springs taken a step further. The new ReActivePro spring takes that a step further still and reinforces the sides of the mattress, so you can sleep right up to the edge of the mattress without fear of rolling off. Another excellent development from the Royal Warrant holders.
Another development for this new range is the source of wool in the mattress. It is now possible to trace the origins of the wool back to the precise flock of sheep, thanks to Hypnos’ association with Red Tractor, meaning the wool is not only British but completely sustainable. The Wool Origins 6 mattress features generous layers of traceable wool. In fact, this seasonal turn mattress has over 8 fleeces, or 16.3kg, of pure wool per mattress. There are also deep layers of Cotton for added comfort.
Hypnos has finished the Wool Origins 6 mattress in a new cover fabric that is cool, soft, tactile and silky smooth as well as being responsibly sourced and unbleached cotton and viscose, which safely and naturally meets all furniture and safety fire regulations without the need for synthetic flame-retardants. This is a tufted mattress, so Hypnos has built it with cords passed through the mattress, ensuring a precise firmness level as well as preventing the fillings from moving around over time. This Hypnos mattress is backed with a full 10-year guarantee.
